February 10, 2013:  Today’s swap meet, first one of the year was another success.  Early risers both vendors and buyers came out in droves — before the chickens crowed.  Every selling stall was taken.  Whether you’re a purist looking for a period correct item, or a high-performance kind of VDubber, or someone in between, you will find that elusive item here.  If not that special item I’m sure you can talk story and pick the brains of hundreds of years of VDub experience amassed in this one location. 

The next Vintage Volkswagen Club of Hawaii swap meet will be on Sunday, May 19, 2013 then Sunday, August, 11, 2013 at Waimalu Elementary School, 98-025 Moanalua Rd., Aiea, HI.  (Scroll over and click on address for direction)  Officially starts at 8:00 am, but get there early for first dibs on items.  Normally goes thru noonish.  Seller’s fee $5 collected at the gate by Derwin and Mark.  Buyers free of charge.  Bring your ‘kala’, and as Makaha Shayne would say, “Snooze you loose, brah!”
